Lo’ and behold, the remote collaboration between @fooz and @pakpandir has resulted in this work of art…

We do have a few variations on different-colored backgrounds which we’ll show on another post, but this is our official basic logo!
Although @pakpandir has been living in Melbourne for a while, it is clear that his love for Sabah has not waned. His design features a typical scene of Mount Kinabalu when viewed from KK city, and it’s fantastic that he managed to capture the spirit of Sabah in one neat logo. I love how he used sun rays to bring out the majestic mountain rising above the clouds!
So yea, we’re TOTALLY in love with our new logo, but that’s not the point. The point is, while you and I are enjoying the glories of digital design, there are children all over the world (72 million of them) who don’t have such basic things like an opportunity to go to primary school, read books, have clean water and likely won’t have a way to get themselves out of extreme poverty without an education. Here’s why we volunteer in spite of our busy schedules!
You can make a difference by volunteering and sponsoring @kktwestival or a @twestival in your city. So what are you waiting for? This is your chance to make a statement about who you are.
